Merrill wants to pick up more shares. They've been driving down the stock to pick up more shares for a year and a half now. Don't you think they'd be done shopping by now? By the way, when the stock goes up, is it because Merrill wants to unload shares -- and if not, why not? A side point... usually, numeric stock prices don't matter in the longer run. There is one exception, however: stocks under $5. Once you go under $5, you very seldom return.
