Jack,

So you're a night owl like myself,eh.

Your wife has a good memory. There is a Navy Pier exit now between Randolph and Ohio Sts. on Lake Shore Drive, just north of Grant Park. It's been rehabbed and now along with IMAX has the world's largest ferris wheel,an outdoor auditorium,a children's museum, sundry trendy shops and al fresco lakeview restaurants and pubs (including the required McDonalds) as well as numerous boatrides. All in all,a real nice place to take the family or a summer date.

A little bad news on the Cineplex front in todays Chgo. Tribune.Apparently, there was going to be a large and anxiously awaited Cineplex Center to be built in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago that was to receive a good deal of city subsidizing because its an innercity area but there's a new ordinance pending or something (my daughter had a swimming pool mini-cisis [to her] while I was reading it and I never got to finish it) that businesses that receive this kind of subsidizing to pay their employees a "living wage" of at least $7.50 an hour which the article posed is a little steep for popcorn makers currently earning $3.35 an hour and over all would seriously reduce profit margins. So now a "done deal" has become a "maybe deal"

I like Cineplex. It looks like they're heading in the right direction and its pretty cheap right now with a good growth potential. It also might be cheaper after the 25th by which time I should have adequately researched it.
