Everyone has had much enthusiasm for the concept (especially Ian Wyatt, who is ready to take on a leadership role).
I have no doubt there is no shortage of skilled technical experts at this web site, but I have yet to hear from skilled money managers, M&A experts, VCs, etc. We could put together one helluva force with the right marketing and PR, but it will take a lot more than 80 responses.
I have been in the game where I built something waiting for someone to come, but nobody showed up. To do this right would take great organizational skills, which I don't have, and if I did, I would need to use them more on my own company.
If you know someone who fits the bill (VC expert, organizational wiz, marketing magician), then push and prod him/her to pick up the staff and lead us. |
