A married man having sex with a much younger subordinate and then lying about it is wrong but not something that should be illegal. It also isn't a sexual assault unless the sex is nonconsensual.
Lying about it under oath is and should be illegal.


Fair enough. I understand your position, and agree with a bit of it. The basic distinction, I believe, is interpretation of the word "consensual".

I'm not sure how I feel about sexual harrassment (i.e., whether it should be a civil wrong).
