Hi Scott -

Wow! Did I mistakenly imply that it was you, rather than me, who was talking about Hitler? If so, please accept my heartfelt apologies - it was me, not you, who was talking about Hitler when I talked about the Nazi invasion of Russia. In light of the fact that you weren't a party to the discussion between me and DJ about the secret German rearmament, you couldn't be expected to know how that was relevant. And in light of the fact that you weren't a party to the discussions between me and Jay about Bush and Putin, and the relationship between China and Russia and the US and Russia and China and the US, you couldn't be expected to know how it was relevant to that.

But then, you didn't really care whether it was relevant or not to anybody but you - it wasn't relevant to you so you have to crap on someone else's conversation?

I never spoke to you in my life before today, never even was aware that you existed, but you've managed to piss me off. From my perspective, we were all getting along pretty well without you, and so far I haven't seen any reason for you to stick around.

I don't intend to leave or shut up just because you think I'm off topic, and if you think Jay is off topic, you are a . . . . .

Jay is the smartest guy on this thread and one of the smartest guys on SI, period. And you're not.
