Speaking of sunshine and fresh air, did you know that it doesn't rain in the Central Valley of CA between April and September... unless you don't count tonite about 10 pm. sheesh. Thankfully it was just a little 20 minute sprinkle. It's so damn flat around here that a 1/4" backs up storm drains and 1" is a doomsday flood. Had a good one a few years ago during the real rainy season. It was 16" deep in the driveway outside my Apt which fortunately is on the 2nd floor. This one tonite will probably only be a couple of hundredths of an inch, but it's 2 months late or 3 months early. Farmers don't like it if it's too much at the wrong time. The crops are all irrigated scientifically and rain just throws everything off. Bad Mother Nature, bad, bad, bad.
