From briefing.com:
<<<8:32 ET QLogic (QLGC) 54.95: Industry channel checks by Banc of America lead firm to believe that QLGC is on track to meet or exceed firm's Q1 rev. est. of $93.4 mln and EPS forecast of $0.23. (Current consensus estimates for Q1 are $93.8 mln and $0.23).>>>

Does anyone know how it comes to be that QLGC appears to be immune from the otherwise sector-wide slowdown that is affecting every other company? Is this credible, or is it just another one of those famous efforts of Street firms to distribute large amounts of stock to unsuspecting J6P at inflated prices before taking the stock down? Any speculations are welcome. I know that there are a lot of knowledgable QLGC holders (certainly former holders!) who read this thread.
