Hi X, Happy Poet is in the midst of a fertile poetry-writing period, has found a mentor who she greatly admires, and is in the process of submitting her first poems to magazines and a contest or two. She has also bought a Himalayan kitten who bears an uncanny resemblance to Yoda and loves to be held like a baby. Her children, recently released from reform school (that's an inside joke -g) are having happy, social summers. What do you think of the view that "life is good", X? I like the way you think. Do you see that kind of sentiment as unnecessarily optimistic or sentimental?
