What do you think of the view that "life is good", X? I like the way you think. Do you see that kind of sentiment as unnecessarily optimistic or sentimental? You didn't ask me, but I'm recovering from a few days of SI abstinence and feeling like a fountain this morning. I say "life is good" often as a kind of touchstone. I find that reflection restorative. If I need more, I play Louis Armstrong's "It's a Wonderful World," which I keep handy on my computer. I don't think either the thought or the song is sappy.
