Consumer confidence higher than indicated? Give me a break! You believe that? In todays Times Union ( from Albany) Front page, " More families losing houses". Foreclosures on home mortgages rose sharply in the first quarter, a sign of a weak economy, and are expected to go higher as Americans face higher debt loads and changing bankruptcy laws. Things like that are not reported in the nations big papers. But they aRE THERE.
