Bollinger Band Explanation, of sorts.
The band is calculated after the close, and yes the upper band will move up if the closing price is higher than the previous day's closing price. Something to pay close attention to is the width of the lower and upper bands. If they are closer together, it indicates that a sharper move is immenent. If the bands are farther apart I've found the stock price tends to move more slowly.
Regarding PAIR: the bands are close together right now, relatively speaking, and I'm expecting a rather quick move (hopefully up, but not neccessarily) at any time.
