first thing comes to mind is that she may need to reinstall in order to uninstall properly. others on the thread (gottfried, maybe?) have given netscape6.0 a spin and removed it, so perhaps they will add more.

i would actually recommend this....

the reinstall seems just about imperative. but, since windows add/remove did not do such a hot job last time, have her install an uninstaller utility first, then use that to 86 netscape6.0.

norton systemworks has a component called cleansweep that is terrific for ferreting out remnants and orphans, and many consider it to be far superior than the windows uninstaller.

beyond that, i would start looking for netscape6.0 release notes and readme files for known issues and faq's and resolutions.
