A very thoughtful post, Jacob. I think you will continue to find it difficult to put an intelligent price-tag on JDSU, because: -- the old pricing model is obviously out the window -- the market has trashed the sector -- the impression of "product glut" may continue for a while -- growth rates are going to have to be rejigged -- short term margins may suffer -- short term nets may suffer substantially So my belief is that it will be a while before a new "fix" on the situation is possible. In the meantime, I find some intelligent going forward view of price/sales is probably more helpful. Namaste! Jim
