I need a primer on how MFNX and other fiber networks bill.
Do they just lease out their fiber, and the lessee is responsible for lighting it and all the other gadgets to get on & off? Or do they meter the data?

If they just lease out the fiber space, DWDM is now capable of splitting the data into hundreds of wavelengths. And I hear that less than 3% of fiber is lit now. So there will be excess capacity for a long, long time!!!
