You're not speaking for me with that thought. Are you basing this observation on what you witnessed in that brief period between 98 and 2000 ?? There's a whole junk of years prior to that. Would you have said the same thing to someone who bought MSFT weeks prior to the first split ? I'm sure it hit a 52 week high back then and may have looked "overpriced". Without knowing the future of MSFT's stock performance, would you have called that person perverse ?
