I see we are on the same wave length. It appears to me he is indicating that the law firm has agreed to represent parties in the action, that parties can contact him with their personal info, and that they will be protected against any legal retribution.

However, if the firm has not agreed to represent the class then people are providing their information with no resulting protection from a law firm.
