A lot of people did get taken in by the types of enterprises that you have described. As I have often said, I have always been opposed to the pay-for-play types setting up shop on what are essentially amateur message boards. Too much like putting the fish in a barrel with a gun pointing at em.

I still don't understand why you want people to contact the law firm directly. I think that the answer to two of my questions is relevant in establishing your crediblity to lead the case. If this case is won, would you receive any compensation beyond what the other people in the class will receive in the settlement? Would your slice of the pie be different than that of the other's? Has the law firm actually agreed to take the case?

Thanks,
JXM
