This new contract for Delphi's energy absorbing steering columns for a future model Ford vehicle is Delphi's first U.S. steering-related contract with Ford.

Delphi recently announced a newly constructed customer center in Dearborn, Michigan with more than 240 Delphi engineers, sales and support staff dedicated to Ford business. Delphi's recent growth with the automaker started with a contract to engineer and supply the first dual power sliding door system for the 1999 model year Ford Windstar minivan.
