Hey Tom/Thread!!!! how goes it??

Hows everyone making out?? FUnny, I keep looking at the nasdaq each day and has it even moved more then 50 points either way since the last time I was around a week ago?

I made good on my word and went out and did my part to help the economy.. Went to the Parsippany NJ computer show (which by the way was actually pretty crowded) and bought a nice 1000mhz system, 256mb ddr, and still waiting for the LCD monitor which costs 2 times the price of the computer : ) - also did repairs on the hot tub (priorities) and bought a new cover- another $900 down the tubes : )

My return to trading might be as early as next week given the speed at which my profits are being spent.. Id say all total- this little 'unwinding' has cost me nearly $5000 and let me be honest and say that $5000 to me is probably equiv. to about 50k for the average person.

Anyhow- I set a buy to cover on CCMP at 54 just in the event that they took it down before earnings.. I was surprised this morning to see I covered and the profits paid for this entire buying spree.. Now im all cash, and will hopefully be back next week to start bothering everyone here again :)

oh- just for the record.. I know I said I was completely out of CCMP, blah blah.. but part of the problem im having with the markets (no secret since I always babble about it ) is emotions.. and to avoid CCMP just because it was such an emotional battle would be to run from the problem.. I aim to fix the problem, so I did get back in last week to face that anger/fear and try to treat it like a trade:

hope everyones making a killing.. This is one tough market, and I picked a great time to just sit back and be a spectator.. Hey- incidentally- anyone who sits in front of a screen for hours trading each day- I STRONGLY urge you to go out, and spend the ridiculous premium for an LCD monitor.. my god.. if you have never had the pleasure of working with one of these you will do cartwheels.. Not only is the picture 100x crisper, more detailed, but the effect on your eyes.. no strain.. no glare.. its a MUST for anyone who trades.. a must.. Actually, check this site out for some really good prices- $1000 gets you a nice on, but they now have cheapos that are also nearly as good:

tigerdirect.com

if anyone is considering buying this item, or any item from this company- let me know.. They are one of my largest accounts and I can get a decent discount.. No joke actually..
