Networking Prices : CIBC World Markets says it is hearing anecdotal reports from channel and industry sources that price discipline in the Mar qtr, particularly in layer 3 switching, may be starting to erode. If true, this would lead to margin pressure, particularly on EXTR, FDRY, and CSCO. Also notes aggressive discounting by CSCO in high-end router market appears to have had an impact on JNPR, but JNPR should maintain margins if it regains technical lead with new product due this fall.
