Signal Technology Keltec Division Awarded $900,000 PAC-3 Contract


DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 27, 2001--Signal Technology Corporation ("Signal") (Nasdaq: STCO), a leading provider of electronics products for wireless communications and power management products in the commercial, defense and space markets, today announced that its Keltec Division in Fort Walton Beach, Florida has been funded for low rate initial production (LRIP II) of Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) Missile power supplies from Lockheed Martin. The PAC-3 is a high-velocity, hit-to-kill missile and is the next generation Patriot missile being developed to provide increased capability against advanced theater ballistic missile, cruise missile and hostile aircraft.

Signal Technology's Keltec Division will be responsible for the low-rate initial production of these power supplies. Long-term follow-on will be funded on an annual basis.
