That's a reasonable response, JDN. Any moderate answer to the health care crisis involves allowing individuals access to large group pools for insurance policies. Also, we should give individuals the same 100% tax deduction on premiums that businesses get. Half our problem is the unnatural connection between employers and health insurance, as created by our tax policies.

Markets can never function right if the receiver of services is not paying customer. Of course, it's questionable that the health care system could ever function as an efficient market because when you need health care, you're in a bad position to shop.
