London Coffee Midday: Sep up $4; hovers near thirty-year low --

London, June 27 (BridgeNews) - LIFFE robusta coffee futures shrugged off a negative opening call from a soft close in New York Tuesday and edged higher Wednesday morning. At 1202 GMT, LIFFE Sep was last U.S. $4 higher at $555 per tonne, on volume of 730 lots, but still just $8 off Tuesday's thirty-year low of $547.

Asia Coffee: Vietnam to continue sales despite LIFFE's plunge

Singapore, June 26 (BridgeNews) - Despite a recent plunge in London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE) coffee futures, Vietnam is expected to continue selling coffee this week encouraged by the weak local currency against the U.S. dollar, traders in Vietnam said Tuesday.
