Thanks, engineer.

A follow up question. Can voice capacity be increased as well by adding towers? If so, what is the rough % increase available before you need a tower on every corner. Maybe better phrased, given the anticipated density requirements of w-CDMA, what % increase over existing capacity would that density yield for CDMA?

I'm trying to determine just how appealing CDMA2000 becomes to Cingular and AWE if they can't access new spectrum. Another way to ask that question, I suppose, is can they gain enough additional capacity in existing spectrum through deployment of CDMA2000 to make a business case for its deployment, or is the capacity increase on a % basis not sufficient to accommodate projected demand?

As always, very much appreciate your comments.

Pierre
