the problem now is more the slowness of Fed action
their inaction during consecutive months last autumn,
when the yield curve was inverted, was wholly irresponsible

their refusal back then was based imo on pure pride

why reverse and cut rates in October, a mere five months after crying inflation wolf in May ???
why? only if pride is not in the way
I honestly wonder whether GreenMold wouldve cut rates sooner if the Prez Election was not muddying the policymaking waters

as for tools, the Fed has such pitifully limited tools:
- target rate cut
- increase money supply
- bullypulpit regional member banks on lending strictures
- bond buybacks
- pressure on foreign central banks NOT to redeem TBonds held by Federal Reserve
- not much else

who know? who cares? we got what we got now

as for Tsunami's, onliest tool I know of is...
A BIGASS SUMO NIKKEI INDEX SHORT SURFBOARD
