The FED cut should be seen as a positive for the Semi cap equip segment. Lower costs are always a good thing when you're trying to build or expand your facilities.

OT:
The 1st FED cuts from the beginning of this year are just now starting to show up in the economic data, so I'm a little surprised that they felt the need to cut today. I would guess that the FED's concern with the extremely weak manufacturing sector was the overriding factor in today's decision. I guess they would rather overshoot their mark by pumping up the business sectors. I personally am concerned that the FED is starting to oversteer, as appears evident by their moves over the past several years. Certainly, in hindsight, they overcorrected last year and it looks, to me, like they may be doing the same thing now.

I'm also surprised how strong the dollar has been during this year but this tends to support my view that they overshot the mark last year.

I'm holding onto IDTI for now (may not be the wisest move!). I don't blame you for bailing on IDTI. I don't like the way they are letting it trade. At the end of the day today there were $0.25 spreads, which is rediculous for a stock thats trading almost 1.5 million shares. Looks like mostly small time traders playing with this stock at the moment. Probably not a safe place to have a position. I will reevaluate tonight when I get a chance to digest all of today's action.
