Hi richard surckla; Re Winbond going into mass production of RDRAM. (1) Winbond is an infinitesimally small player in memory. (2) Winbond has announced that they're going to produce RDRAM before, and failed to produce it. (3) Winbond doesn't have data sheets for RDRAM on their website. (4) Winbond has already announced full support for DDR. (5) Winbond hasn't announced an agreement with Rambus to pay royalties on DDR or SDRAM, nor have they been sued by Rambus. It's likely that they're making like they're going to produce RDRAM in order to avoid legal action. But dream on. Did you see the latest predicitions about DDR market share for 2005? I'll be sure and put it on to the thread. -- Carl
