All, Can VIA circumvent Intels P4 Bus license? sysopt.com "VIA claims rights to the P4 bus architecture through the acquisition of S3 Technologies, a prominent video chipset manufacturer of days now past. Intel claims the P4 bus is proprietary and that only through proper direct licensing should any derivative product be allow allowed to reach the market. Interesting debate, but VIA has not fully disclosed why they may have the upper hand according to recently obtained information from an undisclosed source." Jim
