Ok, I am not going to discuss this much longer here at SI, but I will say this: this woman attacked my motives. She stated and insinuated that my motivation was other than I had stated, that they were rooted in self-interest. It sounded like a bidding war, for goodness' sake. Why did she do that? Why did she not answer my question about multiple aliases? And why on Earth is she posting the movements of an attorney involved in this case on the Internet?! Sorry, this is too ridiculous. She has not met with the legal team involved. She cannot possibly know what was discussed, or what they requested of me. None of you can. If/when I get the green light to post their name here then I certainly will, and all of you who feel you are qualified plaintiffs may call them.
It is so typical of the Internet, and anonymity. I would like to see the same kind of behavior in a court of law - calling people fraud, liar, bankrupt, the police are after you, we have a restraining order against you, you're a parole jumper, we're coming to get you, you're next, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.
I am not too interested in gaining credibility at Silicon Investor. Would I wish to be credible like TokyoJoe, Jonathan Lebed, Jenna or Lee Kramer? I don't think so. I know there are leaders here who are different, and if you are, then I invited you to stand beside me in fighting the abuse in our field. But as for SI, I have lost almost all faith I ever had in this place. However, I felt compelled to give all traders who have been hurt the chance to come forward. This I believe I have done. I am glad I did it, even if I have had a truckload of bad karma launched my way as a reward. That's the price of which I have spoken. If this is any indication, we shall see more ugliness down the road. |
