As a small follow up to a couple of posts. You'll be pleased to know that the conservative effort to limit liability in civil litigation [e.g., Patient's Bill of Rights] tends towards the British system of civil litigation. Some of the Framers thought that was a bad idea.

I don't know what you conservatives do with that bit of information. Oh I know. Turn on Rush. He has the answer, because he plays the national anthem at the beginning of his talk show. I'll bet he even has a slogan you can repeat.
