(NASDAQ:CELL - news) announced that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America L.P., has entered into an agreement with Motient Corporation (NASDAQ:MTNT - news) to provide channel development and management services for value-added reseller (``VAR'') and retail channels of Motient. Brightpoint will provide a variety of services for Motient including the development and establishment of new Authorized Motient VARs and Independent Retailers, the distribution of Motient products, ongoing marketing support, technical support and training services to these new independent retailers.
