mahler, i think each case should be looked at individually.... clearly, CS has a winner on its hands with RSTN. how long it remains a winner is yet to be seen. CS has a relatively mature business. so much so, they are really considered more of a "turnaround" story. MRV will continue to foster the incubation of new technology and we'll likely see more emphasis on spinoffs than at CS as a means to unlocking value. let's just hope those "spinoffs" are all they're cracked up to be, as the market currently views everything outside LMNE as worth nil....
