Drive enough business out of offering health care coverage to its employees and BIG GOVERNMENT would surely step right in and offer it's own health coverage for those that don't have it. Watch a system like that grow. Businessmen and women will say, "Why should I offer coverage? I could get sued. The government will offer it to the masses and it is just one less headache for me". The dems patients bill of rights would allow an employee to sue his/her employer merely for offering HMO coverage. Why carry coverage for employees at all with that kind of liability?

The dems Patients Bill of Rights is flawed in this respect imo.
