Saw in the Wall Street journal that Nasdaq shorts were highest level in years, about 2.9%

Alos lots of money on the sidelines, as you point out.

If we could find the next hot sector, we could do well when that money moves from tech & energy to the new sector.

I am thinking it could either be REITs or Homebuilders. Homebuilders seem like they had a small run, but they are posting kiler numbers. REITs may benefit from inflation, and have high yields.
