Yes. I've read this book. It is quite good. Unfortunately those who need to read it won't or can't, and their so-called "leaders" won't teach them from it because they have in bitterness rejected it out-of-hand.

It seems many blacks are climbing out of the mire nevertheless. McWhorter is but one of them. It is a pleasure to see. Perhaps in a hundred years or so blacks will no longer suffer the pains of slavery and will be able to read and discuss the issue as if it happened to a people long dead.
