There were some really dumb rumors floating around the trading floor that Ciena was going to buy Corning's optical business.

Yesterday, Redback reported reduced bookings on its products, one of which competes with the K2.

Sycamore is also down, however onis is up. A mixed bag.

Bottom line is the rumor mongers are still trying to get this stock to break down, with some success.
