a link to the Magna Carta and a host of other documents?

I took some time in trying to read the original copy (is that an oxymoron) of the Magna Carta at the Natl. Archives. It's important to remember that whatever it says, it is largely irrelevant to Americans. The Constitution is a legally binding contract between our government and the people, the Magna Carta is not.

There has been a series of historical shows and articles on the Victorian era and how and why England developed a stable empire, and then overexpanded it to create a mess they couldn't hold. Cecil Rhodes figures prominately here.
