how man qtrs have they missed now Hifn Announces Q3 Results to Be Lower Than Expected LOS GATOS, Calif., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Hifn (Nasdaq: HIFN - news) today announced that its financial results for the third fiscal quarter of 2001, ending June 30, 2001, will be below the company's earlier expectations, primarily due to the continued softness in orders from customers in the telecommunications industries. (Photo: newscom.com ) Revenues for the third quarter are likely to be in the $6.5 to $7.0 million range, which would be about $2 million lower than the company had expected at the beginning of the quarter and will have the associated impact on proforma operating results. Orders from customers across the board failed to materialize, as the telecommunications and related businesses continue to work through inventories and end demand issues.
