I took a Volcano II ($15 HSF) from my Duron 600@946 over to my T-Bird 1.2@1.4 and it has acceptable temperatures per the socket thermistor for me until I move to watercooling. All temps with "full load" using d.net projects. If you want some more references send PM but it is possible to get good cooling without a lot of noise running at stock speeds or even modest OC. -PT
