Thomas all these things you speak about as hurting MSFT have in effect really helped them. Mr. McNealy's spokesperson put it best, it is time to see who has the best product, and winner take all (reading between the lines, "Oh shoot!" We are dead now). There is no doubt in my mind that the winner will be MSFT.

You want to hate Microsoft, that's fine. Just think what kind of engineering jobs would be available today without them. Probably lucky to get a job mounting tapes.
