Here is a rapidly growing profitable company with a small float with acenterpiece drug that may be better than premarin....... ticker DRMD see the charts! See the revenue growth this past year...

CENESTIN® vs PREMARIN®

Premarin® is extracted from pregnant mare's urine and must go through a blending process to achieve consistency within labeled specifications, whereas Cenestin® is synthesized using a modern manufacturing process to produce a uniform, quality, conjugated estrogens product that is 100% plant derived. The composition of Premarin® is still uncharacterized. While containing the same estrogens as Cenestin®, Premarin® also contains steroids in addition to progestins and androgens.

Premarin® has at least 28 know steroidal components. Under requests for complete disclosure from the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), W-A describes their product as a "complex multi component extract of pregnant mare's urine to which solka-floc (purified cellulose) is added to form a drug powder,; we call the material PCUD (preserved condensed urine desiccated)." Because of the "extraordinary complexity of this raw material" and the need to define the active ingredients in approved products, W-A continues to examine the content of Premarin® at the FDA's ongoing request for product definition. By weight, estrogens are but a fraction of the content in Premarin®; steroids, impurities, and unknowns make up the rest.

A comparison of the ingredients of both products tells a dramatic story. While Premarin® and Cenestin® are bioequivalent for the two major estrogens, estrone and equilin, Premarin® has more than ten estrogenic substances stated on it's label. The content and actions of these other substances have not been identified. Is this really a good choice?

Now consider this. No matter how you feel about Premarin® as a product, or the PMU issue, both sides of the PMU issue agree that an unfortunate outcome of Premarin production is that "some" of the PMU foals are sent directly to slaughter. What if you found out that there was now a choice?

There is. A choice derived from soy and yam and synthesized using modern manufacturing processes with rigid quality controls, thus producing a uniform, quality conjugated estrogen. A choice that is more cost-effective and could save women money. A choice that could virtually end the PMU industry for the mares and the slaughter of their PMU foals. A choice that the makers of Premarin® have fought long and hard to keep away from you.

Wouldn't you ask your doctor about it to see if it is the right choice for you? Being a woman who has owned and loved horses almost my entire life, I feel it is important to have this information available to women so that they can make a choice. That is why we are so excited about Duramed Pharmaceuticals' product, Cenestin® and about becoming involved with them. To have a product on the market that is beneficial to women and can cut down the slaughter of horses is truly exciting! Now we just have to get the word out and talk about it. That is where those of you who are also concerned can help. If there are approximately 7.1 million people involved in the equine industry, at least half ( and probably more than half) of those are women. The horse industry is a great place to start!

All of our web sites have the word "Gnosis" in them, and I am asked quite often what Gnosis means. It is ancient Greek, meaning "to acquire knowledge." "Ek gnoseos dynamis", literally, meaning "Power comes from finding out". Visit the Cenestin® website at www.cenestin.com to find out more. Talk to your health care provider about Cenestin®.
