If your are focused on individuals killing other individuals with firearms the right to bear arms, specifically hand guns and the like, is of crucial importance. Without it, we might get civilized like Europe and have a few hundred deaths due to handguns a year rather than thousands. If you have a great need to shoot people we need a gun on everyone's hip. Just like in the western movies
