Dave, RE: Has any analyst on Wall Street attempted to do a DCF analysis on Intel's operating earnings, i.e. earnings from selling uPs and the like. AND, combine that with a NAV of their portfolio?

Just about every analyst on Wall Street has a model that does this in some way.

I don't put a whole heck of a lot of credence in the number, though. The future cash flows are often just straight lined from recent cash flow growth, and all it takes is a tweak of the discount rate of a percent or two to change things from a screaming buy to a screaming sell.
