Lets see if I understood you. Your perspective is that it is normal and practical to decide who exists and who doesn't and for society to act on these decisions as in:

Nazi's: Jews don't exist (kill em as you wish)
History: Blacks don't exist (enslave em as you wish)
Histori: Indians don't exist (kill em as you wish)
History: Women and children exist with less status than men: (to be treated like live stock as you wish)
You: The unborn child doesn't exist (kill it as you wish)

Any one who is uncomfortable with the above has some, " some metaphysical bugaboo you don't like."
