ST trading: I'm nervously watching NVLS bump up above 56, the top of its post-4/18 range. I wouldn't initiate an AMAT short till it hits 56, but my method is a bit different than yours. I hold a bit longer, and try for bigger % gains on each trade (and do fewer trades). Still kicking myself for not accepting the bid price on my puts, when NVLS hit 48. OTOH, I have frequently got the market maker to split the bid-ask difference with me. One of these days (years, given my stubbornness), I'm going to learn to buy and sell in increments, and not get greedy for that last 10%.
