Hi Ray - I am glad to see my little article sparking some interesting debates all over SI. Also a sharp reminder how little you can really include in 1300-some words. It would take 2-3 more pieces to cover some of the points I have seen raised here and on other threads. I wanted to let you know I agree with your generally skeptical view about the current fiber network builders like LVLT. I just started a small short here that I may add to if LVLT moves up again. But the debt vs. cash flow equation is just too rotten here. Making a wild guess, it's clear that the telcos with cash flow will eventually buy up the BK assets from those without and make the Next Generation Network a reality. Could start next year or could drag on for ten years. The only thing I am sure of is the eventual upgrade of our current very flawed communications system. Good luck everyone.
