Skeeter, DDR will perform as well as RDRAM under the same conditions, but the i845 only has one DDR port compared to 2 RDRAM ports on i850. It is therefore reasonable to expect that i845/DDR performance will not be as good as i850/RDRAM. It also seems unlikely that i845 will even support DDR in the next 8 months, meaning that i850 will be the only reasonable P4 solution from Intel. Scumbria
