1. what operating system are you running? (win95? win98? winme? win2000?)

Windows 98

2. what browser do you use?

IE and Navigator BOTH have the problem.

3. briefly describe the problem.

Some websites will not load on either

Examples:
iwindsurf.com
and
stockcharts.com

Another site, CBS Market watch, was dead but is now working
www2.marketwatch.com

4. how long has it been happening?

Since 6AM PST (now Noon+)

5. what are you doing when the prob occurs?

kick the dog... (just kidding)

6. any error messages accompanying the problem? (copying the exact message is great!)

server down or not responding... etc.

7. what have you tried so far to remedy the problem?

Burned incense and pissed into the wind.

I have talked to others and they say some web sites are out for them also.

I DO have DSL and that has been really slow the last few weeks... often hanging up and I have to reload...

Update...
Works with dialup modem but not with DSL
