Impotence is just one problem that worries people with Propecia. It seems to be fairly rare and reversible. OTOH, Androgens have broad effects on stuff like fat distribution, voice, etc.. While nobody worries about putting us old farts on finesteride for prostate enlargment, there have been some questions raised about starting somebody ( say ) in their early 20's and then keeping them on it forever. And it screws up PSA, which is the best way to screen for prostate cancer.. Procyte is currently marketing Graftcyte (TM) in the hair-transplant journals. E.G., big old half-page adds in "Hair Transplant Forum". They are also setting up displays at medical meetings for their target market, transplant surgeons. Remember, this stuff is only supposed to be used in hair transplants. So, ya shouldn't be too surprised when they don't market it extensively to the public. This is true of most drugs. Dr. P
