Gas stations are taking advantage of changing market conditions to rake in heftier profits margins during the busiest driving season. Wholesale gasoline prices have plummeted by nearly 25 percent in recent weeks, but retailers haven't passed along those savings to consumers nearly as quickly, according to government data.
